Monty Python's Spamalot Boston Theatre reviews
A Melody Definitely Sounds Like A Memory
"I missed Kip Moore's performance because of my group's hatred, which is unfair, right? Still, I haven't been paid back by anyone even though I was the one who bought the tickets. By the time we got there, got koozies and drinks, we made it to the second half of Justin Moore's performance. I took a double take when I got to our seats. I knew we'd be close to the stage, but I didn't realize how awesome our seats would be. This was my third time seeing Justin, and I think this time was the best. He actually had to stop and sit down because he was so overwhelmed by the crowd cheering and singing back to him. I wish I could remember the song he came out to, but all I can remember is him coming out from under the stage onto the catwalk in the middle of smoke. The special effects were awesome with four boxes on the stage where the guitarists could perform while smoke billowed up from under them. During “Smoke a Little Smoke,” they had guitars with smoke coming out either end. The backdrop was curtains constantly revolving, my favorite being the American flag. Now, as for Jake Owen, I thought Monty Python's Spamalot was crazy and energetic, running around the stage like a mad man. But he’s got nothing on Monty Python's Spamalot. Sometimes it seemed like Monty Python's Spamalot had Tourette’s or a seizure on the stage, but that’s what pumped up the crowd and made it more exciting. I have never seen a crowd as involved as this one, and we all know how many concerts I’ve been to in my lifetime. I’ve also never seen a musician as involved as Monty Python's Spamalot. Monty Python's Spamalot never stopped playing. They rocked out, did a few acoustic songs, rocked out again, disappeared for the encore anticipation, and continued to rock out. By far, this was the best concert I have ever been to, and I will continue buying tickets to see Monty Python's Spamalot, regardless of the price. Check out my Facebook page for more pictures."
